Summer is here! & It’s the perfect time to kick start something new. Be that a new fitness regime, picking up a new hobby or maybe trying out some healthy recipes? The mornings are bright, the evenings light, warm weather, blue skies, who wants to stay indoors at a time like this?

No, I'm not talking about an 8-minute sunbed. I'm talking about going outside and getting active (I hear you gasp) what better way to catch some rays, get fit & achieve beautiful skin than to go for a sunny afternoon run, Practise yoga in the garden or perhaps take a long country walk.

It's proven that exercise increases happy hormones and we all know that happiness = positive glow. Plus doing all this under the glorious summer sun.

Having to move our bodies aside, summer is also an amazing time to get ourselves into the habit of eating well. Less cosy nights on the couch, more sunset picnics with friends.

Most fruits & veg are in season so they actually taste amazing!

Having said all this about getting up and going out one factor which I think we all let slide in the summer is... *drum roll* SLEEP. Yes, it's 10pm and not completely dark yet & I know cats do the funniest things on Instagram, but sometimes sleep is needed!

 

Basically, when you can, get some sleep… Everyone feels amazing with more energy! & if you don’t do early nights, what’s better than a sneaky snooze under the late afternoon sun. Maybe a reason to buy a hammock? Or some snoozing loungewear? – That’s a thing, right?

Now the main thing is all about feeling good about yourself, that's what matters, how you feel! When you feel good, you will look good regardless, because the happiness will ooze out!

So let's say we ditch the Haribo, say goodbye to being a couch potato & say HELLO TO SUMMER, to being a POSITIVE BEAM OF LIGHT with glorious glowing skin & HAPPY VIBES.. Smile! X
