THE NYFW EDIT

Last week saw the start of New York Fashion Week, where we saw new designers and trends hitting the runway.

NYFW forecasts beautiful floral prints, lovely lace and even more maxi dresses for our next Spring and Summer wardrobes, but why wait until next year, take a look at our favourite looks from the runway and how you can wear them now!

Take some inspiration from Jonathan Simkhai’s Spring/Summer 2020 Collection – this elegant look can be recreated with Poupette’s St Barth Soledad Off Shoulder Dress (left)  which features layers of chiffon, or the beautiful Angie dress (right)  from Loveshackfancy. In a bright shade of blue, this gorgeous cotton dress features oversized ribbons falling from the shoulder and delicate puffed sleeves. The stunning blue maxi dresses are a fabulous addition to your wardrobe for a sophisticated summer look.

Lace has always been a fashion favourite, our favourite is from Brock Collection, who have once again created breath-taking lace dresses. Another lover of lace is Melissa Odabash. Its Sabina White Dress (left) is ideal for a day at the beach or a night under the stars! Looking for a similar puffed sleeve? The Stacy Duster Dress (right) by Loveshackfancy features a hand painted rose print and is perfect for romantic days that turn into evenings.

Whites have ruled the runways this year. Zimmerman’s white sleeved dress is a showstopper! Whether mini or maxi, our favourite LWD (Little white dresses) come from Loveshackfancy. Their Iris (left) and Leighton (right) dresses feature similar panels of embroidery and lace, creating a feminine and vintage inspired look.
