Hello Poupette St Barths
So here we are in the crimbo limbo, Christmas is done, and plans are being set for a party weekend and the new year ahead. If, however today is still being spent cosied up on the sofa, then this is a post for you, a look into one of our newest yet already popular designers, Poupette St Barth.
Poupette meaning little doll was the teenage nickname for the founder Poupette Giraud. It’s the perfect name which truly embodies the entire brand. Across the collection is an array of Girly prints and special details, pom poms and embroidery all to create these gorgeous unique pieces that can’t be imitated.
Giraud arrived on the small west indie island of St Barth in 1979 and never left. And here is where she created the brand that we know as Poupette. Her love for colour and movement effortlessly translate onto her clothing and every piece remains true to her belief in feeling free and her absolute love for the island.
The brand easily combines comfort with style. All of the pieces are made with quality fabrics and all feel soft to touch. At Beach Café we paid particular focus to two colour spectrums from the collection. Reds and then blues. Both perfectly contrasting but beautifully matched, meaning there is a special piece to be found for every woman.
