We thought it was time to delve deeper and share a bit more about one of our customers favourite brands, LoveShackFancy...
LoveShackFancy is a New York City based brand that was founded in 2013 by Rebecca Hessel Cohen. Her original inspiration for the brand LoveShackFancy was inspired when searching for the perfect bridesmaid dresses for her very own Summer wedding, which we can all see is a very noticeable underlining theme when looking at all of her pieces, the feminine, dream like feel with lace and frill details effortlessly tells the story of a summer in love ever so perfectly.
The brand begun by selling a collection of hand-dyed silk dresses and very quickly gained a committed audience who fell in love with the character and beauty of the pieces. It now continues to grow collection after collection and her inspiration now comes from her collections of vintage clothing and antiques which we can also see come through in her designs. The brand offers elegance with enchanting history and each piece feels like a beautiful love story, using soft colours like cottage cream to blush pink mixed with fresh whites and seaside blues, there’s an item for everyone’s wardrobe and colour palette.
At Beach Café for Summer 2018 we have touched on both blue and pink giving a strong selection of what Loveshackfancy has to offer. The current favourites are our gorgeous blue Meredith dress with white details and neck line frills & our floral carmen skirt which just oozes summer fun.
Loveshackfancy is a brand that lets us escape into a new world full of soft lighting, magical moments and dancing under the stars. It’s a dream world that we all want to be a part of.
